Scana Offshore power cable installation with CoreMarine digital tracking

CoreMarine and Scana Offshore commenced mobilisation of a power cable in Rognan and sailed for field on Saturday the 11th. We will start installation operations upon arrival at field.

Every offshore project that CoreMarine executes comes with our new digital service. Digital tracking of offshore operations allows us to refine and optimise our analysis and engineering. By gathering and tracking offshore data we can ensure asset integrity, optimise installation windows and refine vessel motion criteria including real-time trim optimisations for long transits. The system also integrates with weather forecasts and wave buoy data from field locations.

This specific project has tight installation criteria and low sea states. Our system will be tracking data to ensure product integrity and improve the weather windows.

The data is streamed to our own interface where our onshore engineers can analyse the data and optimise the analysis from the comfort of our own (home) office.
