CoreMarine is thrilled to have been awarded a Research and Development (R&D) NEOTEC project grant by the Spanish Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI). This grant will help us continue developing new technology that revolutionizes vessel and floating asset monitoring, while enhancing fuel efficiency.
The main objective of this project is to create groundbreaking solutions for monitoring vessels and floating assets. By leveraging tank tests and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), CoreMarine aims to accurately predict performance and generate digital twins of floating assets. Digital twin technology provides real-time insights into asset behaviour, helping operators and owners make the right decisions.
A key aspect will involve testing and benchmarking specific hardware and various sensor types, with a focus on improving the fuel efficiency of ships and the behaviour of floating platforms. We will cover off both hardware and software components. The aim is to develop a user-friendly product that clients can swiftly deploy.
NEOTEC, a CDTI initiative, shows the organization's commitment to supporting cutting-edge technologies and innovative ideas from emerging companies. CoreMarine's project aligns with CDTI's mission to reduce emissions in mechanical fleets and advance more efficient monitoring systems for floating devices.
