CoreMarine Digital - Weather and Route Planning

As a part of the CoreMarine iOPS Marine Digital System, there is now a new weather and route planning tool available.

The tool allows for the optimisation of offshore operations using hindcast statistical weather models. Single or multiple vessel options can be selected making it perfect for shipping, towing and offshore construction operations.

Limiting factors (workability) of the vessel used to identify total operation time for each year of hindcast data. Output shows the duration of the operation (nº of days) depending on the starting date selected with max, min and statistical information of that duration.

Key features include estimated standby, optimal route planning, port of refuge suggestions and estimated operational duration. Making this tool perfect both for tendering and operational execution.
